First, the responses were: 7 bots, 4 scammers, 2 possibly unbalanced and perhaps 5 real women with an interest.
Although no one showed up, it was not a fruitless evening.

And this one brief, no doubt about it and we both know it, eyeball to eyeball exchange collectively sums up what I observed tonight.
I noticed the arrival of a quite attractive lady a few years younger than me at most. She obviously took good care of herself and put
some effort into looking nice for the guy she was out with .I wasn't obvious or indiscreet when she walked in, but she knew I was looking, and
the doofus she was with had no idea. He probably didn't know what she was wearing, how much effort she made to wear it so well, or heard to a word she said
during their dinner. However, he was not the one sitting alone.
He was busy playing with his i......his g**damn i! ( I got the feeling it was the only thing he would be playing with tonight.)
At one point she and I looked directly at each other in what I hope was mutual admiration........and she smiled at me.
I think she was happy that at least someone appreciated her at that particular moment.....even a total stranger.
After being by myself for quite a while I notice a woman in different ways, and realize how much she should be appreciated for what she brings
to a mans life in spite of ourselves. BTW: I do not have an i.
So the search will continue for the one woman who will make those efforts for me......and I will notice, and she will smile at me..
Maybe the next Mystery Guy ad will attract her attention and we can move on to the next Chapter.
