Maybe try moving somewhere down South, where your freewheeling lifestyle would come under extremely harsh criticism. But I bet the price would be right though no bleeding hearts to worry about. Just good old fashioned, conservative, Church going people that believe a woman's place is in the kitchen. I'm sure that'd work out really well for you. The fact of the matter is, you dislike liberal policy as it stands but you sure like to benefit from it, don't you? You like having services available if you need them, right? You like living in places where there are jobs, decent schools, etc? California has its problems, and there are a great things I disapprove of going on there (the Dream Act being first and foremost) but I'm damn glad I live in New York State and not somewhere like Mississippi. I've lived in the South, and it's not a nice place for women. Consider the alternatives. As far as the 20 oz drink ban goes it won't pass. And if it does, it goes to the New York Supreme Court where it'll eventually be defeated because it's unconstitutional. That's how democracy works in the liberal joints. The bleeding hearts you so look down upon make things like the ACLU and Planned Parenthood exist. They shouldn't have to, because people SHOULDN'T be looking for ways to oppress others. But they do. And people have to fight back. Be happy you live in a place rife with choices, and not somewhere where a person who lives the way you do (which I have no problem with, by the way) would be utterly vilified and possibly even physiy harmed because of their own personal choices. That's the reason you should be happy to live in a liberal state. Because YOU get to dictate what you do in your own life, not the government. YOU get to and/or have sex with who you want, how often you want, in whatever way you want. No one takes that away from you in California. So go ahead and look down derisively on liberals. I highly doubt a conservative would give a good goddamn about you if you were in a bad situation and needed help. Their culture much dictates that victims DESERVE whatever they get, that it's somehow their own fault. I don't think you'd care much for that at all.
